Die Installation „Diskretion“ zeigt die aktuelle Situation am Schauplatz Kulturstandort <-> Investor und stellt die Bedeutung der Zinken und die damit vergangenen Überlegungen über- groß einer Öffentlichkeit vor. Bisher stets versteckt und nur von wenigen lesbar, erhalten uralte verschlüsselte Botschaften wie „Hier gibt es was zu holen“, „ruft sofort die Polizei“ oder „ganz leise vorbeigehen“ im Konfliktfeld Gentrifizierung-Investment-Verdrängung eine aktuelle und paradoxe Bedeutung.

Since the Middle Ages, tines have been an urban, encrypted sign system for discreetly communicating information about buildings or people. The installation „Diskretion“ presents the current situation at the cultural location <-> investor and presents the meaning of the tines and the past considerations to the public. So far always hidden and readable only by a few, ancient coded messages such as „There’s something to get here“, „Call the police immediately“ or „walk by very quietly“ have received a current and paradoxical meaning in the conflict field of gentrification-investment-displacement.
